Karel Daily Monroe, 67, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in Savannah, GA.
Ms. Monroe was born in Grand Rapids, MI on November 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Harry Leon and Gertrude Blauwkamp Daily. She lived much of her adult life in southern California and moved to Georgia in 1995.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Monroe was preceded in death by her sisters, Lou Jean Daily Kruizenga, Darlene Daily Stratton and Gwendolyn Daily and brothers, Lloyd and Dale Daily. She is survived by her daughters, Aimee Steven Cass of Savannah, GA, Kristine Robert Beverley of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Ann Douglas Norton of Evans, GA and Janelle Kevin Pacheco of Martinez, GA; special niece, Andrea Albert Frazier of Martinez, GA; great-nephew, Joshua, also of Martinez; grandchildren, Emily, Samuel and Daley Cass, Jessica William Navon, Patrick Abbott, Lindsey and Nicholas Norton and Mary and Grace Pacheco; great-grandson, Aaron Navon; sisters, Dona Larry Johnson of Tarzana, CA and Lynda Peter Lillios of Lowell, MA; brother, Jerold Georgia Daily of Canoga Park, CA and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the U.S.O.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your mom, grandma, sister and auntie Karel. She was always such a fun gal at Lee School. Many memories of fun times for us and I hope you remember all I am sure the fun times you had with her. Her smile and laugh!
